PTS Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 Sabres are 5-4-1 in January. 6-4-1 will look so much better than 5-5-1. It feels like ages since our last game. Hopefully they haven't become to rusty. Go get 'em boys! No team with a name like Thrashers should ever beat you.
Stoner Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 Hey PTS! Where have you been? Let's go Buffalo!
mphs mike Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 I hope the Swordsmen are as ready to drop the puck as I am! Let's GO BUFF - A - LO Thrash Atlanta tonight!!!!!!!!!!!
PTS Posted February 1, 2006 Author Report Posted February 1, 2006 Hey PTS! Where have you been? Let's go Buffalo! I've been swamped at work for the past two weeks! It sucks but it pays the bills.
PTS Posted February 1, 2006 Author Report Posted February 1, 2006 1-0 Buffalo. Nice shot by Kotalik. Why the hell does Atlanta have a NHL team? Sounds like there are more Sabre fans there than Trasher fans. Move the team to Winnipeg.
Seannie34 Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 sabres goal Kotalik wrist shot 5-hole.. then there was a horrible fight between Peters and Boulton. they fought right off the draw and they waited atleast a minute before they touched each other. it was pretty funny to watch
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Anyone else on Center Ice notice that the picture quality is awful? Or is it my cable company?
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Would be nice if someone wanted to play in their own end tonight.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 The Sabres are standing around while Miller is getting peppered. 2-1 now...will be worse if they don't wake up. PTR
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Agreed. They look decent on the forecheck and in the neutral zone. Why can't they do anything in their own zone?
mphs mike Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Would be nice if someone wanted to play in their own end tonight. The Sabres are lucky - Kotalik's goal was a nice shot but it should have been stopped. We (me included) would be screaming about the weak goal if Marty let it in. Through 20 it is clear Atl came to play and wants the game. We refuse to clear the puck out of our own end. If we don't get some momentum in the first 5 minutes of the second I fear tonight may be a lost cause.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Well Miller looks like he came to play...unfortunately he can't stop every puck, especially if Campbell keeps getting beat.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Looks like we woke up a little.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Almost halfway through the game, and Atlanta has yet to take a penalty.
Saber61 Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 haha yep... back in the lead! that kid is really starting to look for real!
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 That play shows the dangers of playing a forward on the point, haha!
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 I thought that post shot was in!
Don Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Almost halfway through the game, and Atlanta has yet to take a penalty. That's one way of saying it. Another is that none have been called.
hopeleslyobvious Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 Another beautiful save by Miller!
