eball Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 Didn't see that this had been started yet. DAMN, I want a win tonight. We play these bastards three times in the next few weeks; we need to turn around the momentum in this series.
LoveAndWarrener Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 Totally late gameday thread...wow. I want the Senators' heads on skewers. I want 10 goals on Emery. I want nothing less than dominating victory at home. This will be the best GAMEDAY EVER! Does that help?
inkman Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I love eball's avatar. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
eball Posted February 7, 2007 Author Report Posted February 7, 2007 Thanks ink. Biron is starting tonight, by the way.
Corp000085 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 thanks eball for the game thread. i forgot to start one this morning before work. i'm glad that biron is starting. it shields miller from the team and allows the rest of the team to get a win on the sens first. And, if they lose tonight, it shows the team that its not on miller this time... its on them! I do'nt see the team losing tonight. i see a 9-1 effort tonight. Show emery who's the boss!!

Show emery who's the boss!! in recent news, the Sabres have signed Tony Danzy to play center for tonight's game against Ottawa.
JujuFish Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 We've won 3 of 4. Tonight, we make it 4 of 5. Special teams have been the biggest factor in our losses to the Senators this year. IIRC, every loss to the Sens, we've given up 2+ PPGs. Our special teams have been playing better lately. It's the good guys' time to shine in the series.
mrjsbu96 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 in recent news, the Sabres have signed Tony Danzy to play center for tonight's game against Ottawa. was that a play on words on the prior post about "who's the boss?" tony danza is the worst, i don't know how that guy continues to get gigs. alyssa milano on the other hand.... go sabres! i like the marty start, although i'm very surprised!
Crestwood Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Well we are a talkative bunch tonight! This game has been a boring, tightly checked show of hockey thus far. Let's hope the Sabres get their legs under them, start skating circles around the Otters and stop giving the &*#$in' puck away! Great shift for Paille.
FogBat Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 We're getting plenty of scoring chances, but we're not capitalizing on them. RJ is saying that Emery is a bit shaky. AFAIAC, as long as we keep applying pressure on Emery, he'll give up a few to us tonight.
Crestwood Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Boy, this game is getting exciting pretty quickly! And I can't argue with a 15-8 shot margin, but I thought it was a pretty even period. Let's hope the second keeps the same intensity the last five minutes did.
FogBat Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 I love eball's avatar. Just thought I'd throw that out there. It's not the first time I've seen eball's avatar. Nice to know that Sundin loves that Stanley Golf Bag. (BTW, I chirped a Leafs fan on www.puritanboard.com. He pointed out to me that the Sabres have never won the Cup. I told him that ever since the Original Six era ended, the Leaves haven't won one since then. However, they've won forty straight Stanley Golf Bags. Needless to say, he didn't have much to say after that.)
FogBat Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Man! Teppo almost got his second of the season.
Crestwood Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRE!!! Terrible giveaway but pretty play by Vanek!
FogBat Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 ABOUT TIME!!! Vanek puts one home! - 0
FogBat Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 AAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! :death:
JujuFish Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Jeez, for crying out loud, hold on to the lead longer than half a minute, guys.
rickshaw Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 HOW fat and ugly was that rebound? That will not get Marty moved.
Bmwolf21 Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Good to see both our goalies continue to struggle with their focus...
