Stoner Posted January 28, 2006 Report Posted January 28, 2006 If it's Daniel "PIE-ay," then why isn't the school in Buffalo "Meh-DIE-ay" College?
Eleven Posted January 28, 2006 Report Posted January 28, 2006 If it's Daniel "PIE-ay," then why isn't the school in Buffalo "Meh-DIE-ay" College? There may be (or may have been historically) an accent on the "e" in Paille but not on the second "e" in Medaille. A possible explanation, but I have absolutely no backup for it.
