danneskjold Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 do you guys think we'll see Biron tonight?
Crestwood Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 I think we may. Like the BN said, Ruff likes resting Miller in games against mediocre Western Conference teams. But because everyone thinks that, he'll probably go with Miller.
Corp000085 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 and the reworked PP gets a workout early... lets see what happens and... garbage so far HECHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nice passing, forechecking and puck movememt... It wasn't on the PP, but if you get goals like that, you'll have plenty of PP practice by the way, miller is in net
Corp000085 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 and now a penatly on chicago... a 4 on 3 jesus... drury got PWNED on that one... he blocked 2 shots on the same series. was very very hurt, but then got the backhand off before getting crosschecked. this could be bad
Corp000085 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 spacek has now hurt drury and a chicago player with his shots. someone get that man to th e skills competition! and the PP looks SO bad now that ruff should just let it go... DON'T practice it. The only thing that will help at this point is time... Well, time and Tim Connolly...
smith Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 why don't we have our PP just yell out loud who's gonna pass, and who's gonna shoot... looks too effin orchestrated. not like this is new
mercury Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 and the PP looks SO bad now that ruff should just let it go... DON'T practice it. The only thing that will help at this point is time... Well, time and Tim Connolly... I'm just pleased that we were able to get into the zone and set things up.
MBD Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I'm just glad we didn't get a shorthanded goal scored on us.
Corp000085 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 end of first... The PP was moving the puck around, but unfortunately they still suck... Really unfortunately is that drury got destroyed by a puck to the leg, who knows on that one. 1-0 sabres after 1.
hopeleslyobvious Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I thought the puck movement on the PP was good, and they generated a couple of quality scoring chances. Khabibulin made some big stops. No goals, but they look improved on the PP.

Wow, blasted twice on the same power play and he still almost scores a goal

Khabibulin made some big stops. No goals, but they look improved on the PP. they're to the point now where they're being overcoached, and its obvious. It will just take some smart puck movement, clear heads, and time. The best bet is to concentrate on something else... The PP will come back, and it will come back STRONG, but not till t hey're just able to regain their confidence. Time is what they need. We can just praise our lucky stars this crap isn't going down in the playoffs, like it did in 99.
Corp000085 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 damn... the hecht, poms and briere line has been great this game.
Guest Sloth Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I didn't see the shot Drury took. Is it possible, although unlikely, that it could just be a BAD bruise? If we lose Drury, we're in some serious trouble.
Corp000085 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 um, spacek is a disaster maker tonight... he just hip on knee'd some guy and hurt him
Guest Sloth Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I'm listening to the game on the internet. Drury's back on the bench??!!!
Corp000085 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 drury is back on the bench... hasn't played yet though. drury just completed a full shift.. looks like he's ok
DWarner Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 he's out there now, and laying some good hits
Guest Sloth Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 He's playing now! Talk about going from one extreme to another!
SCSabresFan! Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 How is Chicago in this game? How many scoring changes did we miss?
Corp000085 Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 How is Chicago in this game? How many scoring changes did we miss? thus the scariest type of game...
MBD Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Khabibulin has made some nice/lucky saves.
