PTS Posted January 20, 2006 Author Report Posted January 20, 2006 You gotta love these Jason Pominville-led Sabres!
hopeleslyobvious Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 hope - that was definitely a much better powerplay. even if we hadn't scored i would've still remarked that it was a solid pp because of the opportunities we had. we set up quick, were decisive and had them defending more than chasing us. the first 4 efforts didn't get much of that, you agree? Yeah, that one looked much better. The first few PP's it looked like they were trying to change things up...For the most part I am more patient with them than most.
JujuFish Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 1-1... I have a good feeling about this. I really should get working on my english final due tomorrow
pacpie Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 You gotta love these Jason Pominville-led Sabres! I assume you run AfterFive Studios? A buddy of mine who runs a goaltender training business knows nothing about websites but desperately needs an upgrade. Mind if I send him your way?
Sabresince70 Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 At least these announcers are much better than Mon. nite (except, of course their insistance that anyone with a number ending in one is Max). It's in between periods, its in slow motion it clearly is a "5" but they can't see it....... Max gets enough deserved critisism without being tied to the stake for others laziness.....
JujuFish Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 I swear that puck came across the blue line... good thing they didn't score.
Don Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 yeah, that was them! how funny that one of them got busted. i just can't imagine get booked for something and thinking those two were my last resort. ok guys, enjoy the game. it is moving quick enough to stay awake but time to leave the computer! GO SABRES! .....wow, that was a great effort by the kid from Vancouver to score that goal. I was at a wedding with those two guys. The other lawyers in town used to refer to them as "Before" and "After". It funny when you see how much they look alike . . . except for their hair.

pacpie Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 ahhh we're definitely working harder than they are at the moment. looks like we want this one
hopeleslyobvious Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 we're definitely working harder than they are at the moment. looks like we want this one I have a feeling we're going to pull this one out... Just a thought. It's situations like this that the no line change on an icing rule was written for...yet they go to commercial break.

hopeleslyobvious Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 Yeah, what a stupid time for a commercial break. I'm really surprised that Vancouver didn't take a penalty in that span.
pacpie Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 I'm really surprised that Vancouver didn't take a penalty in that span. damn.
hopeleslyobvious Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 damn. I hope they prove your wrong on the PP again.
pacpie Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 I hope they prove your wrong on the PP again. me too. this is our last push...
hopeleslyobvious Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 2 is tough...Prove me wrong Sabres, prove me wrong.
Larry Playfair Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 just tuned in, looks like we got owned in the 3rd. and outshot 13-6 in the 2nd. jeez.
pacpie Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 just tuned in, looks like we got owned in the 3rd. and outshot 13-6 in the 2nd. jeez. Ahh Well. Who's next and when?

pacpie Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 i don't even think goaltending was an issue tonight. miller came up big early. the canucks opportunities were just too good and they capitalized. i hate to use this excuse but if we had 2 of our top guys in there (brierre and dumont) tonight could've been different. when we play these good teams, our top dogs being out catches up. would the canucks have as much success without naslund and bertuzzi? maybe not a fair comparison. that being said, this game was winnable early. we just got sloppy on defense in the 2nd period.
pacpie Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 Calgary on Sat. http://cbs.sportsline.com/nhl/teams/page/BUF thanks. that game won't be much easier!
PromoTheRobot Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 You can't win every game, and playing on the west coast messes you up. We looked very out of sync on rushes.. We had a couple of posts. Add to that the refs only calling every fourth penalty on the Canucks and you get an "L" PTR
