PTS Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I love West Coast games! You can do all you need to do and then sit down in bed and watch the Sabres until 1am. Should be a great game. I wonder if Biron will play with all these rumours flying around.

Should be a great game. I wonder if Biron will play with all these rumours flying around. The articles in the Buffalo News said Miller is likely to get the start. I wish they made a more official announcer for those of us in fantasy leagues. I've had Miller all year, and picked up Biron during the injury. If I knew who was playing ahead of time, I would have a damn good tandem.

If I remain sitting in an upright position on the coach, I have a 10% chance that I stay awake for the whole game. Laying down on the couch or in bed, I'll be asleep half way through the first period. Sucks getting old and having to get up early.

And a beer or a cocktail during a late game? Forget it.

hopeleslyobvious Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Please tell me your "coach" is a lady, 'cause I don't like where this post is going otherwise. B-) I am guessing he meant couch. I have no classes on Fridays, so I should have no problems making it through the game tonight. Of course next year it's off to the real world, so I should enjoy it while it lasts I guess.
Seannie34 Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 i really hope Miller plays tonight. Marty is pretty solid but he still makes me nervous on breakaways and when Miller is back there i am confident that he will make the save.
hopeleslyobvious Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Who loves ya baby! PA you didn't go to high school at St. Joe's did you?
hopeleslyobvious Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Nope, why? Cause one of the teachers there used to say it all the time.
Taro T Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Cause one of the teachers there used to say it all the time. Chuck Dickerson taught at St. Joe's?
hopeleslyobvious Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Chuck Dickerson taught at St. Joe's? No, but when you have a teacher that says it every day, you start to associate it with him...no matter who else says it.
Stoner Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I'm getting a good laugh out of this thread. Delayed reaction to PTS -- you sit in bed? Come on, lie back. Relax. Unless you are afraid that at your advanced age, you're going to konk out with the rest of us old farts.
gregkash Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 i used to hate west coast games cuz my dad wouldn't let me stay up and watch them.. But now that i'm in colllege I usually disobey him ;)
Larry Playfair Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Cause one of the teachers there used to say it all the time. which teacher? Sounds like a tool. I graduated from Joes in...doh...89.
gregkash Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 Does Miller have a SO this season? I know he's been close with a couple of goals coming in garbage time.
JujuFish Posted January 19, 2006 Report Posted January 19, 2006 I see NHL.com is sporting a bit of a new look, on the scores page at least.
hopeleslyobvious Posted January 20, 2006 Report Posted January 20, 2006 which teacher? Sounds like a tool. I graduated from Joes in...doh...89. Mr. Lina...That guy was pure entertainment. Was he there when you were there? I graduated in 99.

I have a knack of waking up with about 10 minutes to go. St. Francis > St. Joe's :P Go Sabres!
