hopeleslyobvious Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 For starters, this team has the talent to be one of the best PP teams in the league. Things just aren't clicking right now. Another team faced a similar problem last year. The Hurricanes finished the regular season 17th on the PP with a 17.9 percent efficiency. They turned things around in the playoffs, finishing 2nd with a 24 percent efficiency. Our PP will look better.

Plenty of time for the Sabres to work on the Power Play and turn it around.

That's why everyone is so frustrated about the PP...we have enough talent to lead the league in goals for, yet can't get or maintain possession of the puck in the offensive zone on the PP?

I agree with the other poster who said the Sabres are sort of bored right now. They will turn it up when needed
rickshaw Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 It is a concern, but we're still winning. It would be a big issue if the team were losing. Thankfully we aren't. It will work itself out.
Two or less Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Good point. A lot of games left this season too... Plenty of time for the Sabres to work on the Power Play and turn it around. They will definetly get the power play working. Way too much talent not to. But, are you the guy that made that sign?

And they won the cup, mostly due to facing the buffalo amerks in game 7,so if our pp turns around...
Assquatch Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Our PP will look better. You can hope but I would see a doctor.
