hopeleslyobvious Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Here comes another loss to the Sens. Unreal. Quite an optimist.
im4bflo Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 We've come back from 3 goals down more than once, GO SABRES!!!
wjag Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Okay here's the hockey game... Buf has a 4-3.. Can we get one now??? NO.. They get another one just as the penalty expired.. Bufalo: Ottawa: :death: :death:
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 damn power play looks like crap tonight. we are letting the sens get more and more confidence about playing against us
SabreInFla Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 This is tough to watch. I feel a shutout coming. Let's not forget how many injuries the Senators have...and we are still getting beat this badly?
BetweenThePipes00 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Can they just decline all penalties.? They are the best 5-on-5 team in hockey, the penalty killing is coming around ... just decline the power plays.
wjag Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Stick a fork in.. it's over. That's how you run a PP Buffalo: Ottawa: :death: :death: :death:
BetweenThePipes00 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 What the hell was Lydman doing chasing the puck to the point on that Ottawa PP ... could see that goal coming 10 seconds before it happened.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 okay i have seen enough time for doing something else
SabreInFla Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Is there any way that we can revive that thread started a couple of months ago about how it all comes crashing down? I'm ready to respond to it now.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Last year they got beat by San Jose in Thornton's first game as a Shark too .. .Comrie has given the Sens a spark ... I am not excusing the Sabres, they have been brutal this second period, but there are going to be nights like this ... but man is it frustrating to watch.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Is there any way that we can revive that thread started a couple of months ago about how it all comes crashing down? I'm ready to respond to it now. please no but i say no more as why
BetweenThePipes00 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Nice Tallinder hurt now ... THAT is something to worry about. Looks like right ankle or knee ... not good.
SabreInFla Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 THe only problem is that there have already been too many "nights like this" all against Ottawa. Now Tallinder gets hurt. Let's forfeit this one.
wjag Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 UGH.. Tallinder is hurt again,... No word, but it looked like he twisted his knee... Heatly gets the Hat trick... in the SECOND.. Buffalo: Ottawa: :death: :death: :death: :death:
Ramsey05 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Not if they play Ottawa in the playoffs. This is a pathetic performance. I turned it off. First time this year I haven't watched a game to conclusion because I know it's over. Weak, slow, poor PP and soft goals. Not a good formula. Owned by Ottawa yet again.
Ramsey05 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 damn power play looks like crap tonight. we are letting the sens get more and more confidence about playing against us Power play looks like crap every night.
Bmwolf21 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 All we can do now is smile and say "thank you sir, may I have another." Stupid penalties, horrible PP, guys losing 1-on-1 battles, can't get a BB past Emery in the 1st period... good thing we play again Friday.
sabres703 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 what is with the damn horn , are they just gonna hold the button down for five minutes on the next goal!!!!!!!!!
McJeff215 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Power play looks like crap every night. Yeah, it's been pretty crappy for a while now. They've really laid an egg tonight.
Ramsey05 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 All we can do now is smile and say "thank you sir, may I have another." Stupid penalties, horrible PP, guys losing 1-on-1 battles, can't get a BB past Emery in the 1st period... good thing we play again Friday. Good thing it isn't against Ottawa. Better start lighting candles and hoping we don't see them in the playoffs.
wjag Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Total train wreck in the second.. How could they look so good in the first and look so HORRENDOUS in the second.. That's it for me.. I can't watch anymore...
sabres703 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 why is peters not cracking some bones in mcgrattons face?
BetweenThePipes00 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 THe only problem is that there have already been too many "nights like this" all against Ottawa. Let's not overreact ... it was the same way against Florida last year. They have lost fewer games than anyone in the league, even after tonight ... to say there have been too many nights like this is setting the bar a bit high.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Man you guys are REALLY overreacting to this game. It's a wonder you are still alive given that they lost 10-4 to this team last season ... if this is your reaction to a bad period I'm surprised you didn't leap off the Peace Bridge after that game.
