All Along The Watchtower Posted December 30, 2006 Report Posted December 30, 2006 I've bought from this guy before...the jerseys are great and the service is top notch. Has plenty of Sabre vintage in stock now...keep checking back because his stock changes daily. Link
sabresfanmiami(oh) Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 I actually just bought a Pat Lafontaine jersey from there a couple days ago. Can't wait to get it in the mail!
SCSabresFan! Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 WOW! Please let us know when you get a jersey. I know what I want for my birthday.
RayFinkle Posted January 2, 2007 Report Posted January 2, 2007 I actually just bought a Pat Lafontaine jersey from there a couple days ago. Can't wait to get it in the mail! I thought about ordering from them myself. Let us know how it looks!
All Along The Watchtower Posted January 2, 2007 Author Report Posted January 2, 2007 I thought about ordering from them myself. Let us know how it looks! Again, I've ordered from this guy twice and the jerseys are great...stiched numbers, nameplate, crest...even the captain's "C" on my Gil P sweater. Read the feedback, you'll get a good idea on the quality of product and service. (No, I'm not related to the guy, or have any financial incentive!)
frisky Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 I've been saving up and finally got around to buying one today. I'm pretty excited and can't wait to get it. Has lots of selection and customizes. If anyone is still looking, try this place.
shrader Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 I'm pretty sure this is the same guy I bought my Winnipeg Jets-Hawerchuk jersey from. The quality is great.
will Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 got mine from him last night. really fast turn-around time. great look, but keep in mind that they are replicas. the material is thinner than an authentic.
frisky Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I haven't been able to find a place that has authentic vintage whites with customization so this looked to be the next best thing. I also saw a guy (white hair with beer) on the TV last night with the GP 11 white and wondered if he got it from this place too.

X. Benedict Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Was he stuffing his face with a hotdog before the 1st intermission? Somebody needs to make a gif out that guy. He'd make a great Avatar.
SDS Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Somebody needs to make a gif out that guy. He'd make a great Avatar. someone left us a note on SS that the guy was his uncle...
X. Benedict Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 someone left us a note on SS that the guy was his uncle... :D He needs to get the Unc to register. He can't keep that kind of Uncle to himself.
eball Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 I ordered a vintage blue Miller from the guy yesterday. Can't wait to wear it to the RBC when the Sabres come to town and sweep games 3 and 4 of the 1st round playoff series. ;)
sabresfanmiami(oh) Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 Ok the Lafontaine jersey is in and it looks great. Like someone said before, they are replica jerseys and not the authentic so the fabric is thinner. I knew that though, so no surprises. All lettering and patches are sewn on. The name is sewn on a nameplate and then sewn to the jersey. Seriously guys, this is an awesome jersey and a great deal. I highly reccomend this guy's stuff to anyone who's interested. Can't wait to break it in when the Sabres come here to Columbus in a couple weeks!
will Posted January 12, 2007 Report Posted January 12, 2007 the blue throwbacks (with front numbering) are recent additions to his merchandise. any name/number you want. that ought to make more than a few of you happy.
topshelfcookies Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 This is getting pretty detailed, but I have confidence you guys will understand what I'm talking about here. On the original Sabres jerseys (blue and gold crossed swords), it appears to me that the numbering used was an extremely "skinny" font. I saw an original road blue jersey last week with LaFontaine on it, and couldn't help but notice that the numbering on the sleeves and back looked really strange. It finally hit me that the numbers were simply very "chubby" or thick. The throwback jerseys that the 2006-07 Sabres have been wearing all appear to be the "skinny" numbers, if that gives you a better idea of what I'm talking about...just find any pic of a Sabre player with the old blue and gold jersey on. Anyways, does this guy use the skinny numbers?
carpandean Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 Another great Ebay jersey store: http://stores.ebay.com/Hockey-Jersey-Outlet He's out of Sabres stuff for the first time in a while, but everything that he has had has been "authentic on ice". I picked up this: Authentic Reebok 3rd (Alternate) Jersey from him. He put up three of these (no numbering or lettering) for $149 and I was the third and final buyer about 5 hours into the auction. I got custom lettering/numbering ($60) and it is still arrived in 2 weeks. It is beautiful!! I'd check his daily if you want a great authentic jersey at an amazing price. Edit: fixed link to jersey
eball Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Quick update -- received my replica Miller jersey today. Great quality (it's the authentic CCM "Vintage" line replica) and excellent job on the customization. Took a little less than two weeks all told. I'll break it in on the couch tonight watching the ASG. :)
frisky Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Got mine vintage white GP11 a couple of days ago. It's a replica but quality is really good. Can't complain. Everything went smooth and got what I expected.
