From his hospital bed, Imlach wonders if New York Rangers' GM Emile Francis will take him up on his trade offer for little-used Ranger forward Jim Lorentz.

Was that when Joe Crozier took over as coach and Punch relegated himself to strictly GM or had that already occurred? Without looking that seems about right - wasn't Punch behind our bench for about 1 1/2 seasons?
