LabattBlue Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 Seems like there are some major atm problems at the arena. Wouldn't you think that the Sabres would get this resolved asap or bring another vendor in? http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20061204/1034437.asp
apuszczalowski Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 I would have figured just the service charges alone are enough to stay away from those ATM's in the arena.
All Along The Watchtower Posted December 7, 2006 Report Posted December 7, 2006 or bring another vendor in? Like HSBC maybe?
LabattBlue Posted December 8, 2006 Author Report Posted December 8, 2006 Like HSBC maybe? That would be a good starting point!
Josh in Buffalo Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 I have no idea what ATM vendors are there right now, but it *used* to be HSBC and how it could be anybody but HSBC is beyond logical reasoning.
elcrusho Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 Most concession stands accept Debit/Credit cards
fushetti Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 Most concession stands accept Debit/Credit cards The people running the concession stands have a hard enough time pouring my beer and getting me a pretzel. Do you expect them to also run credit cards too Joe? HSBC Arena's concession staff has to rank amongst the worst ever.
inkman Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 Not to mention you just turned into "that guy", holding up everyone with your 6 dollar debit purchase.
LabattBlue Posted December 8, 2006 Author Report Posted December 8, 2006 Most concession stands accept Debit/Credit cards No wonder the lines move so slow. I vote "no" to accepting cards at the concession stands and "yes" to fixing the atms so that the people who show up with no money, can get some out PRIOR to visiting the concession stands. ;)

Maybe for an arena, but Darrien Lakes ampetheatre concession stands are about 500x worse. I went to Ozzfest this year and missed 2 bands on the mainstage waiting to get some foodand I stood at the counter part for 30-45 minutes before someone came over. Worst service ever. I even saw someone throw a full container of nachos at one server because the server ate a nacho from it when he was walking it over to the guy buying it.

I waited 4 F$@%^NG innings for a hot dog. Later that year, I went to Tiger Stadium and got a hot dog and a coke in about 2 minutes. It's all about the management.
LabattBlue Posted December 8, 2006 Author Report Posted December 8, 2006 Maybe Quinny aka "The Savior" can be as dedicated to the concession stand line problems as he is about jerseys, hulking nets & blue ice. ;) PS Before all you Quinniacs start typing, settle down. I know already....he saved the franchise. :D
