Sabretooth73 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 we all know the sabres will be in the playoffs, and even with a collapse and a #8 seed we wont be happy unless they win it all, this regular season has got to be somewhat boring for some of the players, theyre human agree or disagree?

I won't start a discussion of they should shorten the season because i don't think they should, but when you're on the bottom, or on top, it gets boring because you know you're team is set and ready to go and the wait sucks. Esspicially after our unreal start, 10-0-0 where pretty much each of the first 11 games felt like a playoff game and even that Atlanta game felt like a late series game 6 or 7 type game in that 3rd period and into over time. I think the players were used to winning too much, because of last years playoff run and the amazing start that their thinking they can walk on water and bore themselfs out. It sounds stupid, i agree with what you're saying though.

thesportsbuff Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 although i can't WAIT for the excitement the playoffs will undoubtedly bring... i want to enjoy this season for as long as possible. it's been pretty exciting as it is and well, it's been fun.
