Two or less Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Tonight Versus will announce the 2007 Team USA squad that will repersent the United States in the WJC in Sweden December 26th thru January 6th. USA is one of the first teams to announce it's squad. Phil Housley is assistant coach for the US. USA could have a big year imo they have lots of talent. But, this could be a big night for Buffalo. Buffalo natives Patrick Kane (07 draft, plays currently for London), Mike Ratchuk (Philly, currently plays for Michigan State) and Nick Foligno (Ottawa, dad used to play for Sabres) should all make the squad. Also, Sabres prospect Nate Gerbe is almost a lock to make it. 4 guys with ties to Buffalo on the squad? Pretty impressive if you ask me. Also, Rochester kid Kevin Montgomery and Williamsville goalie Brett Bennett are on the bubble. So we'll see. Anyways, versus is gonna announce the roster during the game tonight. IDK when, pregame, intermission or post? I don't really know. And i wonder if Boston will allow Phil Kessel leave and play? That would be huge...

I think it's pretty doubtful Boston will let Kessel leave.
Two or less Posted December 5, 2006 Author Report Posted December 5, 2006 I think it's pretty doubtful Boston will let Kessel leave. yeah i'm selfish thats why i thought of it. lol It would help Sabres for him to be out of the Boston lineup for about 2 weeks and it'd help USA alot to have Kessel, Skille, Mueller, Gerbe, Okposo and Ryan... they could score tons of goals!
