matter2003 Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 I was amused by how Lorentz sounded so excited on the Rangers goals...almost like he wanted to be their cheerleader or something...hahaha I am used to hearing the Jenereatte call which is usually a shocked sounding "They score!", which then continues on with what happened. Lorentz sounded like he wanted to be on the ice to give them a high five or something...to be fair he soundedthe same way when Buffalo scored, but I would think he should tone it down a little bit when its the other team lighting the lamp... hahaha
mediumishot Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 i think jim did a good job stepping in, those are some big shoes to fill. Robi was very colorful as well, hats off to mr lorenze for stepping in and doing his best
gregkash Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 heh, Jim did a good job, I listened to the game solely on radio and never really lacked for what's going on. It was kinda funny though hearing him say score, and like half way through he remembered that his partner always draws it out, so he started to. =-) oh Jim. Robitaille was suprisingly good in my opinion.
ThePolishSabre Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 heh, Jim did a good job, I listened to the game solely on radio and never really lacked for what's going on. He made quite a few mistakes with player identities. Like that 2 on 1 with Goose and Briere... it was actually Paille with Briere :D It was quite odd, but fun to listen to.
inkman Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Technically the announcer shouldn't cheer for either team, but this is about as trivial as it gets.

This was kinda a tongue in cheek topic....it wasn't meant to be really taken seriously...I thought it was just kinda amusing while listening to the game...
