The Sabres are 4-13-3, and as Perreault would say later, "I had had enough." Perreault finishs his career with 512 goals and 814 assists in the regular season and 33 and 70, respectively, in the playoffs.

Perreault finishs his career with 512 goals and 814 assists in the regular season and 33 and 70, respectively, in the playoffs. The most important factor in his decision was the fact that Perreault played enough games (20) in 1986 to qualify for retirement benefits that were increased by the league after he had retired the first time. I think he would have done the same if the Sabres were 10-10-0.
LabattBlue Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 It's hard to believe that it has been TWENTY years! :( For those who never had the chance to see him play live, you don't know what you missed.
