bottlecap Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Dick Duff was a Sabre in the first two years of the team's existence, for those of us old enough to remember. Him and Donnie Marshall were a couple of old "smoothies" brought along by Punch to help the team out in its infancy. He retired in '72 with about 250 goals. Duff just got elected to the hockey hall of fame. Congrats to an ex-Sabre/ex-Leaf who didn't score alot of goals, but "scored em when they counted."
