BetweenThePipes00 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Is there one word for "someone who would probably love it if he knew someone on this board still gave a crap that he came here and annoyed us 6 months ago"? Don't give him the satisfaction.
Sabretooth73 Posted November 16, 2006 Author Report Posted November 16, 2006 i agree with that thinking, but it just gets to me that he is no where to be seen or heard from when we have won all 3 against his team this year....but will be back and talking if his team wins something
Kristian Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 "Smelly". Fits his avatar, and I'm sure it's not far from the truth considering the real person either :D
Sabretooth73 Posted November 17, 2006 Author Report Posted November 17, 2006 what about coward, spineless, gutless, pinhead, bandwagon, dork, or even ignorant
Kristian Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 what about coward, spineless, gutless, pinhead, bandwagon, dork, or even ignorant All of those work for me, just as well as "smelly"
shrader Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 Jebus, some people are bitter. Why the hell would you bring this up? What's next, insulting Mike Grier for not scoring that one goal 2 and half years ago?
Sabretooth73 Posted November 17, 2006 Author Report Posted November 17, 2006 shrader, poor analogy, come on now..... was just June when that tool was in here making ridiculous comments, and i brought him up bc its funny to see when a team is down 3-0 in the season series, their so called "fan" is no where to be found=awesome
hopeleslyobvious Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 Jebus, some people are bitter. Why the hell would you bring this up? What's next, insulting Mike Grier for not scoring that one goal 2 and half years ago? You and I both know he should have scored.
Sabretooth73 Posted November 17, 2006 Author Report Posted November 17, 2006 mike grier is not missed at all
hopeleslyobvious Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 mike grier is not missed at all Yes he is. :wallbash:
Sabretooth73 Posted November 17, 2006 Author Report Posted November 17, 2006 nope, he's not.... got a lot faster dudes than him, and our record speaks for itself... he is an average at best NHL player
shrader Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 You and I both know he should have scored. I still think Sauve should've made that save back in '83.
hopeleslyobvious Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 nope, he's not.... got a lot faster dudes than him, and our record speaks for itself... he is an average at best NHL player He is a great penalty killer. One of the best IMHO. He is also a great forechecker. He had great chemistry with Drury. He is a good leader. Long story short he does a lot of things right that no one notices.
Two or less Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 He is a great penalty killer. One of the best IMHO. He is also a great forechecker. He had great chemistry with Drury. He is a good leader. Long story short he does a lot of things right that no one notices. True, but Pominville is even better, and he replaced Grier. All in all, i would say in the perfect world he is missed cuz only an idiot would prefer Peters over Grier, but, Grier is making much more then Peters and for Grier's salery (and even at a discount rate) he was not worth it for our team. When he left, i thought it was a mistake. I don't think any arguement is valid from the guys that left, Fitz, Janik, Pyatt or McKee, i don't think we miss any of them. It wasn't possible for us to keep these guys and we had better dudes anyways. However, the only arguement that i can hear is, JP Dumont vs. Ales Kotalik. At the time i wanted Kotalik, when the season started i wanted Kotalik, but now.. idk. Dumont is doing pretty well with new linemates and new system while Kotalik is stuggling with his teammates... but, if i had to pick one of them for the next 2 years i think i'd still keep Kotalik, but, the arguement is valid IMO.
