I rarely watch the local news. The "national" news is accessible on cnn, fox or nbc 24x7. That leaves the "local" portion of the news which usually is comprised of fires, robberies, corrupt politicians and other bs, 5 or 6 minutes of weather(which is usually wrong) and 2-3 minutes of sports which unless you want to see Bills/Sabres highlights is nothing you can't see on ESPN News.
