smith Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 special teams look the worst i've seen all year
Kristian Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I'm suddenly starting to remember why I dislike Biron so much.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 You guys make it sound like everyone else showed up tonight and Biron is the only one making mistakes. They don't deserve to be in this game, they are playing about 1/3 of the time. It would be 5-2 if Biron doesn't hold them in it. I agree the first goal sucked, but if that goal beats a team averaging nearly 5 per game they do not deserve to win.
Kristian Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Soon I hope! Fact remains that Biron is nothing but a backup, give him too many games and get him comfortable in net - this is what you get.
cleveldsabrsfan Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 You're right but I have no confedence in Biron

cleveldsabrsfan Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I thought they'd go 80-1-1 :nana:
Kristian Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I thought they'd go 80-1-1 :nana: lol
cleveldsabrsfan Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Well shoot can't watch the bills anymore I'm tired of puking

It's been a while since he's had a game with a .900 or higher SV%. The team bailed him out some other nights. He's not returning the favor tonight.
cleveldsabrsfan Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 See ya Thursday stick a fork in it :wallbash:

hopeleslyobvious Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 I agree, but then say that. The point is they needed to be bailed out. Sorry they can't score 7 82 times a year. But sometimes your goalie needs to show up. Biron did not.
Kristian Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Sorry they can't score 7 82 times a year. But sometimes your goalie needs to show up. Biron did not. Not tonight, or the last three nights.
wjag Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Ottawa gets a banked empty netter Short handed down 4-6 UGH! Buffalo:   Ottawa: :death: :death: :death: :death: Bring on the Penguins
BetweenThePipes00 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Now they bank in an empty netter ... this Ottawa team is going to come on strong now, folks. Saturday night is going to be no picnic, and I'll be stunned if they are not the ones chasing us by midseason, not Toronto.
smith Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 biron isn't miller...no surprise. how many effin shots did we get off on the PP tonigth?? 4? 5??
BetweenThePipes00 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Sorry they can't score 7 82 times a year. But sometimes your goalie needs to show up. Biron did not. How about scoring THREE? I know it makes everyone feel better to blame only the goalie, just like everyone feels better to blame Losman or Bledsoe when the whole team sucks. Well, the whole team, Biron included, sucked tonight (by their lofty standards ... not comparing them to the Bills.)
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 amazing lose to leafs and sens at home, and previous games before monday let bad teams get a point from us. Oh well just couldnt get a decent powerplay going tonight and to many turnovers and sloppy play.
Kristian Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Can't wait for Miller to return. Biron once again shows why he is NOT the no. 1. Give him too many games, and he returns to his shaky ways. Same old softies, same old misplays. Hasn't learned a thing in 6+ seasons. Only difference is his team couldn't score 5 for him tonight.
BetweenThePipes00 Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 biron isn't miller...no surprise. Exactly ... we all KNOW he's the lesser goalie, yet wewant him to steal games? Not gonna happen often.
hopeleslyobvious Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 How about scoring THREE? I know it makes everyone feel better to blame only the goalie, just like everyone feels better to blame Losman or Bledsoe when the whole team sucks. Corp000085 Posted November 16, 2006 Author Report Posted November 16, 2006 well, hopefully tonight will light a fire... damn, that was sloppy on all accounts. Briere showed up... drury came back from an injury... um, other than that, the team pretty much stunk up the joint. biron sucked, our pp sucked, and our PK sucked.. there's a fine line between winning close ones and losing close ones... time to start wining in style again. tonight's game was simply unacceptable. they need to get some fresh guys back from injury and look forward to friday... not much positive can be drawn from a blown 3rd period lead...
