JCBoston Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 They say in the Snews today that game-day skates are open to the public. Does anyone know what time they typically take place? Thanks.
LabattBlue Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 I believe someone mentioned in a thread a couple of weeks back that they were at 10:00AM. Just in case, I would call the Sabres the day before to verify.
BuffalOhio Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 I'm the guy that mentioned them. 10:00 AM, at HSBC, day of the game. Take your kids during Christmas. Better to take your kids out of class (if they can handle a few hours out of the classroom) during school. That way, there won't be a giant gaggle of kids there to get in the way. I went on December 8th with my brother, and it was awesome. Maybe 10 fans there, and everything we had got signed, and I talked with every single player. Here's my synopsis: Game Day Skate
jp... Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 A good idea by the Sabres...wonder who came up with that? Do other NHL teams do this? My synical self says that the Sabres didn't think of this on their own :D
Taro T Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 The game day skates have been open to the public for as long as I can remember. I've never gone to one, but have gone to many a training camp practice which is also open to the public. No data on the policies of other teams, but I'd imagine most teams allow people to watch the practices.
