Plus, you can't blame Carolina for the lack of hockey tradition. It's not ther fault they didn't have a team in 1970.

He skates really well and pinches in at the right times. He's tough and finishes his checks with a bang. He'll drop the mitts when it's called for no matter who his opponent is. I like him a whole lot. I'd like him even more in a blue and gold sweater.

I liked him with the Flames when they went to the Finals in 03-04 against TBLightning.

 

Now I don't like him simply because he's on the Whalers!!

I have also liked him as far back as his Calgary days.

 

Last year, during the playoffs, I must also confess that I was a bit "jealous" that the Canes fans had that whole robe-and-wig thing. As much as I love this current Sabres squad, I think we need some catchy nicknames or cheesy props or something.
