The Sabres chase former goalie Andrei Trefilov to the bench and extend their unbeaten streak to eight games with a 6-1 thumping of the Blackhawks at the Marena. Dominik Hasek also takes a seat, but only because Lindy Ruff fears that the frustrated Hawks might take a run at him in the third period.

How about that Ray-Bonvie fight that happened that night where Ray just demolished him, got to the penalty box and, for the lack of a better description, gave a baseball umpire's "safe" call. I guess he was pretty much signaling that the fight was no contest. I'll never forget that.

That was a great fight. Even better, though, is that the motion Ray made, which is "Safe" in baseball, is also the motion a Boxing Ref makes after he counts out a KO. Rayzer was saying he had knocked his opponent out.
