Doohicksie Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Just watching the game and suddenly I noticed Kotalik was EVERYWHERE on the ice, leading the rush, then covering for the defenseman that pinched in behind him. One of the keys to the Sabres fast break style is that the defensemen pinch up, but that is only possible if the forwards are responsible in covering the holes left by rushing defensemen. I know we all think of Drury when discussing two-way players, UNRELATED::: STAFFORD SCORES HIS FIRST!!!! anyway, I was just gonna give kudos to Kotalik for being such a key in the Sabres game.... :beer:
