Saudi Arabia Rob Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 A posting last week suggested the Sabres needed to lost big to end their winning streak. It would wake the team up and get them playing well...if that theory hold water, this may be the game! Hopefully this isn't a trend. They've got a busy couple of weeks ahead and need to get on a roll again. I certainly hope no ones ready to throw them under the bus...I have a feeling they'll be on a roll shortly.

I think this is the third bad game in a row. BTW strange coincidence that the overhead goal cam was out on that reviewed play huh?
Corp000085 Posted November 3, 2006 Author Report Posted November 3, 2006 I think this is the third bad game in a row. BTW strange coincidence that the overhead goal cam was out on that reviewed play huh? it was colin campbell reminding us that he didn't take the flyers GM job
hopeleslyobvious Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Dear Andy Brickley. Yes your team is beating the Sabres. However, a win tonight will move you into 2nd last place in the Conference. Please keep that in mind.
Corp000085 Posted November 3, 2006 Author Report Posted November 3, 2006 and suddenly we're only down 2... 4-2 boston on an afinogenov goal
Peace Frog Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 As much as this embarrassing display sucks for us, I feel it's a healthy thing to have your ass handed to you once in a while, especially by a division rival, to help keep the team's skates on the ground. I was hoping for a 5-0 victory for the Slugs tonight but if they're gonna have slow feet tonight, then they deserve to get pummeled. Lindy, who had nothing to really complain about last week, can tear them a new one next practice and get them back to playing Sabres hockey instead of this drunken-slug crap.
mrjsbu96 Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 you can't play all 80 games with finesse and speed. there are going to be lapses. this truly doesn't upset me. if anything, it does prove that some of the old NHL still works. the bruins worked their off for every loose puck tonight and used the body every chance they had. let it be a lesson to us, and i think many of - even during this win streak - worried if we were short in the muscle department...
hopeleslyobvious Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Savard has had quite a few breakaways tonight. If I didn't know better I would think he didn't cross the red line.

mrjsbu96 Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 despite once again getting badly outplayed we have tied it at 4....unbelievable.....if this team ever plays a full game consistently it will be scary!
Smitheo Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Holy crap is this period as exciting as it sounds?!?!?!?!?!!?? 4-4????
mrjsbu96 Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 by the way, i've learned to tolerate andy brickey, but is the play-by-play guy Jack Edwards in disguise b/c aside from being a different voice it sounds like the exact crap that Edwards shoveled all last year...
BetweenThePipes00 Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Ridiculous they got even ONE point out of this ... nice of them to start playing with 4 minutes left.
JujuFish Posted November 3, 2006 Report Posted November 3, 2006 Wow, we've stolen at least 1 point tonight.
