Orange Seats Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Tim Russert held up the blue Sluggalo jersey and congratulated the Sabres on the 10 game season opening win streak at the end of his show today.
blugold43 Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 i can't wait until he finally mentions that somebody "got slugged." you know it's going to happen at some point. :)
FogBat Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 I remember someone on here having an avatar that showed Tim Russert holding up the old Goathead jersey. Is he a Sabres fan? Is he from Buffalo originally?
FogBat Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Never mind. I answered my own question via wikipedia. Glad to know where his heart lies.
DWarner Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10005066/ for today's show. maybe someone can figure out how to cut the slug part out.

mrjsbu96 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Never mind. I answered my own question via wikipedia. Glad to know where his heart lies. tim russert is a huge buffalo guy - check out his book he wrote last year about his father. it has all sorts of references to his growing up in south buffalo!
FogBat Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10005066/ for today's show. maybe someone can figure out how to cut the slug part out. I tried to navigate my way through that clip, but I couldn't find where he showed the jersey. Can you help me on how to do this? I'd love to see it. In the words of Talas, "Sink your Teeth into That!"
Orange Seats Posted October 30, 2006 Author Report Posted October 30, 2006 It's always right at the very end. He's done this ever since he took over the show... except until very recently it was always for the Bills.
DWarner Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 yeah, no way to fast forward (as far as i could tell). it's only the last 10 seconds or so.
FogBat Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 yeah, no way to fast forward (as far as i could tell). it's only the last 10 seconds or so. Well, if I'm that determined, I'll look it up. The link is still on this thread.
