deluca67 Posted October 29, 2006 Author Report Posted October 29, 2006 I can see it now: If Tom Golisano were to sell the team, DeLuca would buy the Sabres in a heartbeat and have Peters put on waivers immediately. That's how deep his hatred is for Andrew Peters. Having said all that, I'm going to do my best to ignore DeLuca's anti-Peters rants from now on. Once again, my apologies for saying "STFU". Cursing goes against my beliefs, and it was way more unprofessional than Peters' golf swing back in April against the Leafs. No problem.
Eleven Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 I've got to ask how DeLuca's posts in this thread are perceived as part of some anti-Peters agenda. The original post had NOTHING to do with Peters whatsoever. In fact, it was an interesting observation about the teams in the division. Someone else called him out on the Peters thing. Suggestion: if you want DeLuca to stop commenting on Andrew Peters, don't ask him to!
DR HOLLIDAY Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Peters>bag o' pucks............ :nana:
X. Benedict Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Okay, we are done with Peters - how is the Briere = A-Rod movement coming along?
shrader Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Peters>bag o' pucks............ :nana: How many pucks?
deluca67 Posted October 31, 2006 Author Report Posted October 31, 2006 Okay, we are done with Peters - how is the Briere = A-Rod movement coming along? B-Rod is on pace for 89 points. I smell a $5 million dollar bust.
LabattBlue Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 B-Rod is on pace for 89 points. I smell a $5 million dollar bust. Maybe my math is bad, but I have Briere on pace for 111 points.
Taro T Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Maybe my math is bad, but I have Briere on pace for 111 points. He's on pace for ~22-89-111.
DR HOLLIDAY Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 How many pucks? Maybe a bag of road apples.............
deluca67 Posted October 31, 2006 Author Report Posted October 31, 2006 My bad. I Misread the stat line. I thought he had 12 points in 11 games. Briere is great
shrader Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 Maybe a bag of road apples............. Is it a nice bag?
nfreeman Posted October 31, 2006 Report Posted October 31, 2006 FWIW, I think Briere has had a very good start to the season and was the best sabre on the ice vs. the thrashers (although DaveB is right that he didn't pick up Holik on the backcheck on the thrashers' 1st goal). He wasn't just fattening his stats vs. the flyers and rangers -- he showed up very strong for the big game.
FogBat Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 My bad. I Misread the stat line. I thought he had 12 points in 11 games. Briere is great  True, but where's Max? He had that hot hand the previous week. Maybe he'll be back in form after the 5 day rest.
deluca67 Posted November 1, 2006 Author Report Posted November 1, 2006 True, but where's Max? He had that hot hand the previous week. Maybe he'll be back in form after the 5 day rest. Not to nitpick :D but Vanek should have 20 goals already. :wallbash:
ThePolishSabre Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 Not to nitpick :D but Vanek should have 20 goals already. :wallbash: yea, and he should finish the season with around 150 goals :bag:
