Corp000085 Posted October 27, 2006 Author Report Posted October 27, 2006 so, any blind speculation as to the tallinder injury? it seemed like he was hit with a puck on the bench after he took that big hit. i hope its not serious.
wjag Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Tallinder didn't look serious to me.. I bet he's back..
bob_sauve28 Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Well, this is usually where we run away with it, the Second Period >>>>me  >>>>Islanders :death: :D
Chilly Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 This is like listening to a Sabres vs. Sabres alumni game... I mean I knew how many were on the Islanders, but hearing RJ say "Kozlov, Satan, Zhitnik" drives it home even more so. Wrong Kozlov :P Thats Viktir, not Slava.
wjag Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 so, any blind speculation as to the tallinder injury? it seemed like he was hit with a puck on the bench after he took that big hit. i hope its not serious. Tallinder back on the ice for the second. He looks fine.. WOW MAX WOW!!! 2-0

MBD Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I'm SO frickin' pissed that I can't see the game online! :wallbash:
Orange Seats Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Wrong Kozlov :P Thats Viktir, not Slava. Sorry, I'm listening on the internet, not watching --- and I don't know the Isle's roster that well.
Corp000085 Posted October 27, 2006 Author Report Posted October 27, 2006 hecht injury? did he just go to get stitches, or is there a bigger problem?
FogBat Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Like I said earlier in this thread, I've been listening to this game via XM/Fishstix game feed. People are still talking about the 9-1 buttwhooping we gave the Flyers a week ago -- and the Fishstix announcers are no exception.         This one's for Clarke and Hitchcock: :death:
wjag Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Hecht took a stick to the face. buf PP has looked bad tonight. Good thing they gave us a 5-3..
DR HOLLIDAY Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 WAY TO GO, MAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Sweet goal..........
TM8-PL16 Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 hopefully we'll get a word on Hecht during the intermission... I hope he's ok
MBD Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I'm liking the scores of the other games. Philly is up 2-1 on Atlanta, Tampa Bay is up 3-0 over the Hericanes, and the Sens are up 3-2 on the Loafs. BTW, I think for the Sabres to TRULY tie and/or beat the NHL mark for best start, they'll need to go win at least 4 more games in regulation or OT.
Orange Seats Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 BTW, I think for the Sabres to TRULY tie and/or beat the NHL mark for best start, they'll need to go win at least 4 more games in regulation or OT. Huh? Do you mean because they won 3 in shootouts and the record was set in pre-shootout NHL?
MBD Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Huh? Do you mean because they won 3 in shootouts and the record was set in pre-shootout NHL? Yep.
wjag Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Huh? Do you mean because they won 3 in shootouts and the record was set in pre-shootout NHL? I've got my sights on a new record, 18-0; to set the all time most consecutive wins...
Corp000085 Posted October 27, 2006 Author Report Posted October 27, 2006 these islanders announcers are just... bla. they're definitely not good, they're definitely not bad... its like a minor league game tonight. at least that's the feel i get from watching. I'm pissed that the FSN ny hottie is on "assignment"
MBD Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I've got my sights on a new record, 18-0; to set the all time most consequtive wins... You mean in ANY sport? Score Danny B!
MBD Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 And Ottawa up 6-2 and Tampa up 4-0! But Atlanta tied it up.
wjag Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 No.. I just saw a graphic that said the penguins had 17-0 streak regular season..
Orange Seats Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 Islanders are getting booed by their home crowd. I kinda feel bad for them.
MBD Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I thought a team had gone 35-0 during the regular season?
