mphs mike Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 ... number 9, number 9, number 9 ... to quote The Beatles!
Orange Seats Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Here's an even better number: 18, as in 18 points. As the only undefeated, we're, of course, sitting atop the points race, but it's even nicer to see the breakdown in the east: Buffalo - 18 Atlanta - 13 Toronto - 11 Montreal 10 NJ - 9 Pitt - 8 Tampa - 8 All the way down to Philly - 3

Ouch! That's gotta hurt. Their fans are probably still cursing us to eternity over that blowout from the other night. As for Atlanta, they have me a bit concerned. Hossa and Ilya "Illegal Shtick" Kovalchuk aren't pushovers. Lehtonen's an awesome goaltender as well.
wjag Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 Atlanta is this years Carolina in my opinion. They will be in the hunt the whole way. We aren't running away from them. I think they have 15 points after tonight....
