krazy8321 Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 the blank helmet looks good with the white jersey
BetweenThePipes00 Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 I don't care if they are up 2-1, that was the worst period they have played all season. Nice to play like crap and still be ahead ... that never used to happen.
hopeleslyobvious Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Ahh NESN. Mara grabs and holds Drury, then smacks him in the head...good defensive play. Pile up in front of Marty, then they point out that Tallinder threw someone to the ice with no call. Don't get any more objective than that.

Nice to play like crap and still be ahead ... that never used to happen. Second period is the strong period for us though we have like 13 or 14 goals in the last 3 games during the second
wjag Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Better be a better second period.. That was UGLY...
BetweenThePipes00 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 DUMB penalty by Chara ... and the Sabres make him pay.
norfend Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 He Scooooooooores!!!!!!!!! what a play!
wjag Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Amazing.. Pominville with 4 goals this season. Nice PP. Max was off sides.. Wasn't called.. Turning up the heat now...
BetweenThePipes00 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 NEXT! Have a seat, Hannu ....
rsb1094 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Max scored and Rick Jeanneret said "Top Shelf where mama hides the cookies" is that the frist Top shelf call all year?
krazy8321 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Max scored and Rick Jeanneret said "Top Shelf where mama hides the cookies" is that the frist Top shelf call all year? Damn it and I have to listen to these idiots from boston :(
BetweenThePipes00 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Man, the Sabres still look like crap in their own end ... again, nice to have a lead in a game like this.
norfend Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 nice to have the number 1 point scorer in the nhl on our team for a change, even if it is game 8 of the season
krazy8321 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 nice to have the number 1 point scorer in the nhl on our team for a change, even if it is game 8 of the season Tru Another Buf penalty:O
BetweenThePipes00 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Better period for sure, but they definitely look a bit tired after playing last night ... lots of loose pucks they are a step late to ... but they are gutting it out.
norfend Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 is anybody else having trouble getting into the chatroom, or is it just me?
gregkash Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Im listening to the webfeed of WGR at work. Sounds like we're not playing that great, but yet again, for some reason we're ahead.

Corp000085 Posted October 22, 2006 Author Report Posted October 22, 2006 decent 2nd period... hopefully they can hold it together for the 3rd... glad the NESN guys aren't as bad as last year... looks like jack edwards was replaced with that other chowderhead
SDS Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 is anybody else having trouble getting into the chatroom, or is it just me? I didn't have any problems, but nothing is going on in there. Everyone is watching the game!
hopeleslyobvious Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Still not completely happy. We were spending an awful lot of time in our end. When Bergeron was called for tripping, I think Chara could have easily been called on the same play. And Sorry Blue, but I think Roy Max and Vanek are going to be playing together for a long time! :D Oh, and even though it's a new season and new team, I still have not heard Savard's name in the defensive zone.
wjag Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 Bad break literally for Boston. Stewart out with broken finger
norfend Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 does that mean drury is the league leader in goals for the nhl?
BetweenThePipes00 Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 I think I just heard some brave Buffalo souls start a 1-2-3-4-5-6 we want 7! chant ...
Kristian Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 6-2, unbelievable how they can play so sloppy and still be up by that much. This team is fast becoming an offensive juggernaut.
