SDS Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 http://www.sabrespace.com/ right hand column. What other info would you like to see there?
Bmwolf21 Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 I like it...like the mouse-over popup for game nights...is there any way for the popup for past games to show the game result? No recap or anything, just BUF 4-3 SO or BUF 3-1, something like that...other than that, me likey... And you know what else I'd like to see in that column...add some stats or leaders! :D
kicksave11 Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 and maybe video highlights of the games on demand introduced by the player who was chosen as the first star that night, and make it so when I click on games at dinner time that a pizza is automatically delivered to my door by a sabre player. That'd be great, thanks!
Knightrider Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 Other than it belongs up on top of the right column, it looks great!
SCSabresFan! Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 SDS - How about some fighting video clips of Peters? ;) Kudos on the work dude.
sabregoats Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 i just saw the updated calendar and it is great, much better than before.
All Along The Watchtower Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Looks great! :) Anyway to toggle to future months, games, etc?
SDS Posted October 16, 2006 Author Report Posted October 16, 2006 Looks great! :) Anyway to toggle to future months, games, etc? working on it!
shrader Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 I think it should be replaced with a picture of me. But yeah, it's a nice step up from the old one.
Ima90sJezus Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Scott - Looks like there is a problem - of course it could be the stupid IE that the Government uses..... Here is what I see: Calendar image upon initial loading: Cal Image #1 Calandar image after scrolling over some of the dates: Cal Image #2 IE information if necessary: IE Info BTW - we have the capability to use Netscape v7.1 and it loads properly in that... norfend Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 New calender is great! Vast improvement over the old one. Keep up the good work!
Braedon Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Love the calender. I think you should also have a section with the Saberspace consensus of the 3 stars for the evening, with comparison to those chosen by the official 3 stars. It seems to be a running theme where they miss horribly. Like they're watching a different game.

JujuFish Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Would it be possible at all to have little icons of the teams' logos instead of numbers? Also, with the mouse-over popup, if someone is dedicated to keeping it updated, you could put in the records of the teams, and possibly things like home or road record.

I'm busier than one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest. Something that requires a constant update is liable to fall by the side. They are good suggestions though! However, I will accept all volunteers! Edit: I think I can do the icons, but I would need a set of small logos to do it. 30 pix wide I think would be the max.

I guess since it's my idea, I should probably volunteer if I want to see it done. You'd have to show me how I do so, though.

Is there any databases you could subscribe to for the updated records and icons? BTW, is there any chance the calendar cann gor to the top of the right column?
SDS Posted October 17, 2006 Author Report Posted October 17, 2006 Is there any databases you could subscribe to for the updated records and icons? BTW, is there any chance the calendar cann gor to the top of the right column? I don't have any free options... The ones I have found have all had errors in them making them worthless. I could, but then THC300 would move to the calendar position. I don't want to push the box office down since they help pay the bills and I want people to use their services if they like their product.
blugold43 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 yo scott i know i am a little late on the draw with this (that's why i'm a winger!), but i gotta say that i think the site updates are great. the main page is excellent.
SDS Posted October 20, 2006 Author Report Posted October 20, 2006 Ok, do those little icons help? Is it clear that blue border is home and yellow border away?
norfend Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 The logo's in the calendar are GREAT! The borders are easy to see for home/away games. Keep up the great work!!
smith Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 looks GREAT! love that you don't have to scroll down to see it, and the logos look perfect. -kill carolina
