Corp000085 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 could a goalie trade be on the horizon?
apuszczalowski Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I was thinking the same hing, but I doubt it, Dennis is more likely to be in Rochestor for a while to develop
X. Benedict Posted October 12, 2006 Author Report Posted October 12, 2006 could a goalie trade be on the horizon? I don't think so. This kid is a year or two away and needs at least a year in the A.
Taro T Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I don't think so. This kid is a year or two away and needs at least a year in the A. I don't know. I could see Berkhoel going for a bag of pucks. ;)
X. Benedict Posted October 12, 2006 Author Report Posted October 12, 2006 I don't know. I could see Berkhoel going for a bag of pucks. ;) Only if he gets that GAA under 3.50 will we get that.
Corp000085 Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I was thinking the same hing, but I doubt it, Dennis is more likely to be in Rochestor for a while to develop i was thinking more along the lines of dennis filling in for the guy who gets called up to replace biron
Taro T Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Only if he gets that GAA under 3.50 will we get that. Well, I didn't say they wouldn't have big chunks taken out of them. ;)
Stoner Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Corp, you seem a bit anxious to trade Biron. Why? Or am I misreading your comments?
hopeleslyobvious Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 Corp, you seem a bit anxious to trade Biron. Why? Or am I misreading your comments? I'm a bit anxious to trade Biron. $$$$$
frisky Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I read a while back that scouts weren't too high on Dennis becoming a No. 1 NHL type. I remember then seeing that Swedish guy we drafted was our most promising prospect. Well, just gotta keep planting the seeds and see which ones grow blossom I suppose. As for Marty, I think we're going to hang on to him down to the wire before pushing that trade button.
inkman Posted October 12, 2006 Report Posted October 12, 2006 I read a while back that scouts weren't too high on Dennis becoming a No. 1 NHL type. We only need him to be as good as a #2. ;)
Corp000085 Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Corp, you seem a bit anxious to trade Biron. Why? Or am I misreading your comments? personally, i'm not anxious to trade biron. I think that the biron/miller tandem is great, no matter the cost. However, i was just wondering if this signing (a prospect to a relatively long term deal) had any implications on a potential trade that may be in the works. If i were darcy, i'd hold my cards... you only dump biron if the team is not going to make the playoffs and use him as a rent-a-player trade bait. Biron will get his chance as a #1 guy, and his payday next year, but he'll get his cup with the sabres this year... plus you implied that i was talking about biron... I still want to see the blockbuster ryan miller for Kevin Dallman trade.
Stoner Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 I'm a bit anxious to trade Biron. $$$$$ Why are you worried about Tommy G.'s $$$$$?
hopeleslyobvious Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Why are you worried about Tommy G.'s $$$$$? Hmm, maybe because we are almost at the salary cap and not carrying a 23 man roster.
jad1 Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Hmm, maybe because we are almost at the salary cap and not carrying a 23 man roster. The whole cap concept hasn't sunk in with PA yet. Give him a couple more seasons. :D
shrader Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 I'm a bit anxious to trade Biron. $$$$$ Yeah, but you hate him.
BuffalOhio Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 plus you implied that i was talking about biron... I still want to see the blockbuster ryan miller for Kevin Dallman trade. Corp - please put down the keyboard. You're scaring all of us.
sabres703 Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 there are 4 goalies on the rochester roster ( Dennis, Berkhoel, Anderson, and Pellitier.) who gets the most playing time?????????
hopeleslyobvious Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Yeah, but you hate him. Na, I don't hate him. I just don't trust him to start on a regular basis for this team, and he's making too much money to be a backup on this team. Not to mention, I really hope he gets a shot to start somewhere else.
