Dryden didn't play in the opener but tended goal for four seasons. In fact, before Dominik Hasek arrived on the scene, he owned the best save percentage in a season, .908, in 1972-73.

I joined the Air Force 21 years ago today! Yikes! Took one last drive around Delaware park and then took off for Texas! Wow
