Bmwolf21 Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Since Cox Cleveland has apparently never heard of OLN/Versus, we'll be heading to buffalo wild wings to watch the season opener tonight. We'll be getting the Center Ice package for the rest of the season so I won't miss too many games, but I don't want to miss the opener. Where is everyone watching the game tonight? Anyone having any get-togethers or parties? I know its tough, being the middle of the week...
topshelfcookies Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 I think my buddies and I are heading down to the Elmwood strip area...probably either Fahretys or Coles. There's an outside chance we might stay in the Suburbs and just go to Tullys on NF Blvd.
Quickdraw Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Friend is hosting a Sabres + LOST party....that is....watch the Sabres game live, watch a DVR'd season opener for LOST. Good times.
Ramsey05 Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 On my couch, with a bottle of lambic, the way I finished LAST season.
BuffalOhio Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 In High Definition on my couch. Having a coworker over who is a Cane's fan. Hoping to see the Sabres kick some ass tonight so I can tell him what's what!
hopeleslyobvious Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 On my couch. Watching the opener, then watching a recording of Lost!
dave in broward Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 AT my son's football game, dieing to know what's happening. Thank God for recording devices.
shrader Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 I'll watch the first period and part of the second from my ridiculously comfortable recliner. Then I'll leave for the season opener of my hockey league. I'll watch the rest of the game on tape later tonight. The cell phone will be turned off the second I leave the apartment. No on is ruining this for me.
Smitheo Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 At the 75th and 1st at the Blue Moon in NYC with about 50 of the NYC Sabres Supporters
JujuFish Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 I'll be listening to it in New Jersey, assuming it's on WGR.
HockeyFan T Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Sec 332 Row F Seat 1 (Seats 2-4 will also seat Sabres fans) Let's Go BUF-FA-LO!
Bmwolf21 Posted October 4, 2006 Author Report Posted October 4, 2006 AT my son's football game, dieing to know what's happening. Thank God for recording devices. You need text alerts on your cell phone...that's how I found out about Pominville's OT winner against Ottawa last year... Sec 332 Row F Seat 1 (Seats 2-4 will also seat Sabres fans) Let's Go BUF-FA-LO! Fixed that for you. Will you be wearing your split jersey - half Canes Red, Half Buffalo Blue? Or will you wear a T-shirt and keep the jerseys in the bag so you can put on whichever one is winning? :P
Realist Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Just scored some tickets for tonight's game! My wife's boss has season tickets for the Canes and knew she was a Sabres fan, so he offered her a pair! :D

chileanseabass Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 i'll be at home "sick" watching the game with my roommate and about 100 wings. no business dinner meeting will keep me away from this game.
Spandrel Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Six of us are going up to T.C. Hooligan's in Webster to watch the game. It was the same place we watched nearly every game of the playoffs last year.

Or will you wear a T-shirt and keep the jerseys in the bag so you can put on whichever one is winning? :P The jersey in the bag could be a good idea for the walk back to the car. I must say I've considered it. But I can take the abuse, besides cheering for the Sabres in Raleigh isn't like cheering for the Bills in Cleveland or Philly. Oh, and I fixed your log in for you (BmWOLFPACK21)! Go Pack!
Two or less Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 At my friends house, like most of the games last season. It's kinda a tradition. Beer, pizza, some smacks and lots and lots of hockey talk!!! I'm so excited the season is here.
