Actually, the preseason home opener is Saturday the 30th.

Er, it is Saturday, Sept. 30. I know because Friday, the 29th is my 50th birthday and that day has had a big red circle around it on my calendar since January.........oh, plus I bought tickets for it.

According to this press release, the uniforms will be unveiled sometime during the week of Sept. 24 and worn for the first time at home on Sept. 30. No word on what the Sabres will wear during the four games before Sept. 24.

i was at lids the other day and the guy that works there and myself were telling these new fans that the sabres have a new logo coming out in a month and to just wait the 3 weeks to buy the new stuff but i guess my point is that he says on the 24th the new logos will be out and he said it will be the slug but with like some sabres behind it. i hope it looks better than some of the stuff we have seen on the board !!!!!
