SabresOnTheWarpath Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 I noticed that I am still getting the OLN/VS channel as part of the basic digital cable package on Time Warner. Does this mean its safe to assume that the channel will still be there when the hockey season starts? I know there was a big issue about it in the playoffs, and it was resolved by adelphia by granting a "prieview" so people could watch the games. Just wondering if the channel is now here for good.

Fronz1103 Posted August 18, 2006 Report Posted August 18, 2006 not necessarily. They could pull an NFL network and take it away on us in about a week w/o a notice...lol
Wild Jay Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 As someone who has always had Time Warner, OLN has always been part of the basic digital package, so to all of those former Adelphia customers, there should be nothing to worry about. That was one of the few bright spots of Time Warner's channel line-up.
SabresOnTheWarpath Posted August 19, 2006 Author Report Posted August 19, 2006 good deal, its nice to see the sabres in HD :D
jwrak Posted August 19, 2006 Report Posted August 19, 2006 Living in Batavia I have had Time Warner for as long as I can remember, and with only the basic basic, not only do I get OLN, I get MSG too. Its kind of nice, I only pay for the local channels and they've given us alot more.
