Kristian Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 Ok, so he hasn't done much this year, but a nice play drilling Kasparaitis last night, on a clean hit against he boards right after Kasparaitis hauled down Briere. Kaspar never saw him coming either, nice to see him get a taste of his own game.
Carmel Corn Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 It might be fun to see him, Gaustad, and Mair play a few shifts together. Might cause some of opposing defensemen to pay more attention when they're on the ice. That could get the crowd going!
Saber61 Posted November 23, 2005 Report Posted November 23, 2005 yea grier can be fun to watch when he's hittin and motivated... a few more goals would be nice or even assits but he does do a pretty good job of clearing the area for the other forwards on his line.

The way the Mair-Gaustad-Pyatt (I can't call him Taylor Quiet right now) line has been playing over the last few games, there's no reason to touch that line. I'm glad Rick and Jim finally acknowledged them last night because they're probably the best line out there right now. As for the hit on Kasparitis, Grier left his skates, so it wasn't a clean hit. It's just something they're pretty lazy about enforcing.
