Larry Playfair Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 Sabres goalie Ryan Miller had some good news to report. The operation to insert two screws in his broken right thumb went so well the timetable for his return has been accelerated. Instead of being out six to eight weeks, Miller said he's scheduled to be cleared for practice the first week of December. http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20051109/1000255.asp

By the way I don't know if anyone listened to NHL live today, but they were talking about the battle for starting goaltender for Team USA and they had some nice things to say about Miller.
Saber61 Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 THANK GOD! Biron seems to be playing his heart out... but its just not enough. the sabres don't score enough goals to consistantly outscore opponents because of birons faults... Miller is the saviour... i fear though that they may be building this team the same way they did with Hasek... There building around a goalie... however the only solid brick in the building is Miller... the rest could be toppled by a swift wind.....
