Allan in MD Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 If we lose Jay, and it appears that we unfortunately will, I'd love to see Brendan Witt come in to replace him.
Orange Seats Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 Not sure whether this needed its own post.
Eleven Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 If we lose Jay, and it appears that we unfortunately will, I'd love to see Brendan Witt come in to replace him. Good Lord no. Witt can't lace McKee's skates.
Rabbit151 Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 Are you kidding? Brendan Witt can bring all what Jay can.
PTS Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 Brandon Witt is half the player he was in the old NHL. I'd take McKee in a heartbeat.
Stoner Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 What's up with you guys using the Humping Ferret (credit:SDS) as your avatar? Wouldn't it be an indication to someone from the Sabres that you actually like the thing? "Yes, Mr. Quinn, many fans are already adopting the logo as their "handle" on the Internets." "Very good, young man. Now make me some herbal tea."
Goodfella25 Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 I'd love to get Witt in here WHEN we lose McKee, but considering out offseason priority is probably re-signing Fitzpatrick, I doubt that will happen.
The Jokeman Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 I'd love to get Witt in here WHEN we lose McKee, but considering out offseason priority is probably re-signing Fitzpatrick, I doubt that will happen. Ick Fitzpatrick is nothing more then a #6 Dman in this league. I;d have no problem letting him walk for someone else. I know everyone is crying for Right handed shots but give me someone like Radoslav Suchy or Kim Johnsson or even old man Carney before bringing back Rory.
