nfreeman Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 From TSN.com: "This marks the third consecutive playoff season in which the Eastern Conference finals will be decided by a Game 7. In 2004, the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated Philadelphia at home in Game 7, and the New Jersey Devils outlasted the Ottawa Senators in the decisive contest on the road in 2003. Both teams went on to win the Stanley Cup." Boys, we have a very good chance to win this thing. Go Sabres.
zow2 Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 I love playing game 7 on the road. Carolina, like most teams, play a more wide open style at home thereby giving the Sabres more transition opportunities. Their goalies have not been quite as focused at home as they've been in Buffalo. I think Buffalo has a great shot and the pressure falls squarely on Carolina since they are at home.
ddaryl Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 I think presure is on everyone. Nobody is escaping the pressure of game 7. I do think the Sabres started gaining momentum in game 5 and have maintained it through game 6.
