deluca67 Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 Did they shake hands at center ice? The Series is now 2-2. Now is not the time for questions or doubt. Save it for the off season. Game five on Sunday. I expect the Sabres to show up in a big way. Why? Because it's what they do. ;)
Kristian Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 Here's to hoping you're right DeLuca, but nevertheless we've played 4 games in this series so far, and only showed up for two. Wouldn't you agree that's unacceptable? But hey, 2-2 still time to turn this around, but it's like I said before tonights game - The forwards absolutely HAVE TO forecheck like crazy and take a load off the D in that respect, if they don't, well... Look at last night.

nfreeman Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 Game five on Sunday. I expect the Sabres to show up in a big way. Why? Because it's what they do. ;) Right on, DeLuca. We don't quit. We dig deep and come back twice as hard. Go Sabres.
scottnc Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 I couldn't believe Bucky Gleason's article in the Buffalo News this morning: http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20060...?tbd1062975.asp He's mailed it in talking about our complacency at the trade deadline. Way to have faith in the team. Did he honestly think they could anticipate losing 3 of their top 4 blueliners in a span of 5-6 games? Let's face it... Carolina has a hell of a team and we need to be playing our best, which we didn't do last night, but there's a reason why it's a best of 7. Hopefully we'll get Teppo back and take it to 'em back in Carolina. I'll be there on Sunday cheering the boys on. Go Sabres!!
Larry Playfair Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 3 games series baby. Ill take that opportunity. We can pull this off with great goltending and a solid effort by our forwards.

rickshaw Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 I firmly believe we are the better team. I want this bad. Let's hope they can do it!!

Look at last night. Maybe they showed up and still got outplayed? It happens. This is the Final Four. If it were easy it wouldn't mean anything. I think they played like they were missing three blueliners. I don't think they will make this mistake again. I expect them to leave it all out there for the rest of the series. I will allow this team no excuses. Injuries mean nothing. You still have to play. You still get to dress a ful squad. No excuses. Win or shake the hand of the better team. It's the NHL way. Anything else makes us like the Philly Fans.
BuffalOhio Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? C'mon, who's with me?
Eleven Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? C'mon, who's with me? We are NOT turning my car into Deathmobile, if that's what you're thinking.
