Spandrel Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 On a positive note (seriously), at least there were no major injuries.
scottnc Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 Gerber didn't have to do much in the 2nd - all those "big opportunities" Davidson was talking about were shot right into his his pads & midsection - we apparently can't shoot upstairs tonight. I was thinking the same thing when I was watching the game. Why aren't they going upstairs?
Stoner Posted May 27, 2006 Report Posted May 27, 2006 We did. Don't you remember the puck going off the back boards right to Briere just beside Gerber, whose legs were open? Briere shot it off Gerber's midsection I believe.
Corp000085 Posted May 27, 2006 Author Report Posted May 27, 2006 time to unpin this crap and forget about what happened last night. i've moved on, hopefully drury, briere, et al have too...

While sitting at the game last night I was wondering the same thing. I thought for a while I was watching pee-wee hockey and that the Sabres were not capable of lifting the puck off the ice. :P Note to Sabres...it is very difficult to beat a goalie who is in the butterfly position with a shot along the ice.
