X. Benedict Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Finally got to see your mug on channel 2 this morning. Looked like a little Don Johnson stubble that you had going on there. :D Fill us in when you get news on the morning skate.
SDS Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 did he have on the pink t-shirt and the white, linen coat?
X. Benedict Posted May 24, 2006 Author Report Posted May 24, 2006 did he have on the pink t-shirt and the white, linen coat? Solid black Tee. I was scanning the studio to find the white linen coat and the monitors were blocking the view of the Docksider shoes. :(
Stoner Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 It's always weird when you finally see someone you have listened to on the radio for a while, isn't it? Like the guy who is miraculously cured of blindness and sees his kids for the first time. Believe it or not, after 20 years of listening to the guy, the first time I ever saw Rick Jeanneret's face was after May Day when he was interviewed on TV. It was freaky. No offense to Rick! :)

Stoner Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 I am so sorry you had to see Paul Harvey. I had a similar moment when I finally saw Garrison Keillor after years of listening to "A Prairie Home Companion." Garrison... that is one weird looking dude! But brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
GrimFandango Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Some radio personalities are sort of strange about having their face seen... I know Ira Glass, a host of a show on NPR doesn't let photos taken of his face without something covering a portion of it... (or at least he used to)... sort of cool when radio celebs stay radio celebs
MBD Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 There's a reason why they say "a face suitable for radio." No offense to Brad, since I don't know what he looks like.

You may want to make sure that no small children are nearby when you click this link then. I'm guessing that's pre-"playoff beard."
