Hurricanes Have Their Problem Fans Too

Of course I was lurking on the 'Canes board... I find it addictive now... :o :D

 

And dug up this (from a 'Canes fan):

 

And some bad elements amongst the Canes. Take it with a grain of salt since I didn't see the start and may have only witnessed the "retaliation".

 

Over in 103/104, it looked like a Sabre fan and his wife/girlfriend had to request assistance from the usher/security types as they were apparently harassed trying to get back to their seats near the ice. I could tell the Canes participants were continuing to stir the pot, including trying to wait for them to come back up the stairs after the game. The Buffalo couple wisely waited it out by their seats.

 

And in the parking lot, I have no idea what started the screaming, but ultimately two Canes fans opened the car door of two Sabres fans who were in the line to exit the lot and kicked the driver in the head. I was stunned. Fortunately it was by the area where the players leave the arena, so security was on the spot almost instantly.

 

And they say Sabre fans are bad... WOW! There really is some "bad blood" out there!

All fans of every team have their bad apples. Accusing any team that their bad apples represent the entire fan base is spurios and hypocritical (Flyers fans are the exception, of course).
