wjag Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 I have been thinking that the shootout has changed the playoff goalies dynamics for the better. Here is my hypothesis, having been exposed to countless shootouts has made the remaining goalies better. I know it can't be completely attributed to Ward's success, but still, it has steeled the nerves of these guys. They are more accustomed to high pressure shots. It might just be me, but it seems that the goal tending by the final four has been better than in the past. What say you?
