Stoner Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Sorry, I forgot! Understandable, since nothing much happened on this date. Certainly, no games. In 1975, it was the day before Game 4 of the finals. The Sabres had to be feeling better about themselves after scoring five goals on Bernie Parent and climbing back into the series. Oh yeah, it was still warm in Buffalo. People must have been expecting more fog in Game 4. In 1998 and 1999, it was two days before the opening game of the Eastern Conference finals, at Washington and at Toronto, respectively. I know that fans want to think right now is the most excited they have ever felt about a Sabre team, but try to remember what the days before the conference finals in 98 and 99 felt like! Exactly the same!
CanesChic Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 In 1998 and 1999 I hadn't felt like that since knowing the Bills were going to Tampa in SuperBowl XXV!
