There's a well thought out intelligent commentary.

Of course, anyone who purposely smashes a glass like you describe should be arrested for disorderly conduct on the spot. But don't let that stop you from having a little "fun" at everyone else's expense.

it sure won't.

I for one feel sorry for you, after all you do live in redneck country. Might not be as poor as Western NY, well we all know it' not, not even close but i'll take a homeless guy, an abandoned building here and there over having to deal with hicks 24/7.

Hicks, rednecks, transplanted northerners.

So many of you on this board just can't seem to figure out who lives down here.

As far as the area not being as poor as Western New York well, I am surprised at your lack of pride.

Lack of pride??? dude, i'm just not in denial about where i live. WNY isn't the richest but i love it, nothing beats it.

There's that pride. Well done Polish.

I knew I liked you for more than your snappy one-liners.

Yeah, most of us still call you the Hartford Whalers (BRING BACK THE WHALE!)

Lack of pride? It's a fact that WNY has economic difficulties, despite that, WNYers are spending the money to follow their team at home and on the road, pumping money into your well-fed economy (again, you're welcome). We've never been more proud of our team or our fans.

Yes, thanks for sending your money.

But from now on, please keep the fans that can't handle their liquor.

If we're going to fill up your arena, we make the rules. That's the way it goes.

And I can't really blame them, listening to you posers bitch and whine about ticket prices will drive any NHL fan to drink!

wow...i just read through all 5 pages of this thread for the first time and the only thing i am sure of is that i am JACKED for game 2! i hope all hell breaks loose in the 300 level so i can hear the carolina fans cry about it tomorrow!

hey the goat, look at the bright side. at least the sabre fans weren't popping off about hiding out in white vans and "sniping" hurricane players in the parking lot as some flyer fans discussed doing to the sabres players. i didn't see anyone post that they were going to punch the first 8 hurricane fans they see in the neck, as i saw flyer fans publically threatening sabre fans.

by the way the goat, did you go to haverford or something? if so, i hate you even more than i would normally hate you for being a carolina fan.

Jad appears to have some anger issues.

No one was whining about ticket prices. I was, however, pointing out the discrepency between what the Canes market themselves at vs. what they've now priced themselves at.

Someone asked, and I answered.

Now you settle down now.

Aye. I haven't been online much of late, but it seems that there's a serious "StadiumWall-ization" going on 'round these here parts... :(

Sorry... OTW is just not "doing it" for me these days... The intense debate it here...

Don't worry Campy, we are all family! ;) ;)

The only time I ever really wanted to take a swing at a drunk visiting fan was in 1990 or 91 when the Canadiens were in town for the playofs ... I was standing in line for the bathroom at the Aud (of course the line was out into the hallway) and a guy was in front of me with his kid, probably around 5 ... like TM8-PL16 said, I love to see little kids at games, it's how they become fans. anyway, the kid had a Jim Kelly jersey on and some drunk Habs fans come RUNNING up to him, crouches down and yells in his face "JIM KELLY SUCKS!!!!!" You can imagine the reaction in the tight Aud hallway ... if a cop had not been close by he may not have survived.

Anyway, it sucks to hear that a few drunken idiots are making a bad name for Buffalo fans, but there are drunken idiots everywhere ... if Carolina fans want to think all of Buffalo is like that, nothing we say will convince them otherwise.

and by the way, that thing TM8-PL16 said about NASCAR fans and back hair? Sadly, 100% TRUE. A friend of mine went to a race and some dude had Earnhardt's #3 shaved into his back. Again, doesn't mean ALL NASCAR fans do it ... but isn't one enough in this case?! ;)

Happens everywhere... I just can't see how people can go off on kids! :( :(

I was at the Bills game in Oakland... Riding back on the BART from the game to South Frisco we ran into a few Bills fans that live in the bay area... They said that their 10 year old son (who wore a Moulds jersey) was accosted by a drunk Raider fan (who would have thought... ;) ) getting in his face screaming and yelling... Actually, the other Raider fans jumped on him and subdued him until security came.
