Ruffalo1 Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 Anyone know of a good bar in the Atlanta (Gwinnett) area where Sabres fan hang out and watch the games? Thanks
THE CAT Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 Wondering the same thing. There a central hangout anywhere?
SHAAAUGHT!!! Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 ESPN Zone is probably the best place I know to watch the game in ATL. They should have it on a big screen in one of the "lounge" rooms. If there is no NASCAR or basketball game on then they may even have it on the huge movie screen in the bar area. Plus they have bubble hockey and hockey game upstairs where you can shoot on a moving goalie. Pretty fun after 6-7 beers. Food and drinks are pricey though.
Kevbeau Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 Miller'S Ale Hose...right off the Mansell Rd exit of 400 has Center Ice (not that it's needed anymore). It's right below the Cooler (2 ice sheets, 1 roller) so there's usually some hockey fans there.
Angry Buffalo Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Padriac's in the Vinings is a great place to watch Sabres (and Bills) games. I was there for game 1 on Saturday, enjoying some of the best wings in Atlanta and $2.50 Coors Light's. (they have Blue and Canadian, but you'll have to pay a little more for it.) The owners of the bar are huge Sabre fans from Buffalo and are happy to put the game on the big screen (w/ an Infocus projector.) The food there is hands-down the best bar food in Atlanta and they have at least a hundred beers to choose from. Recommended food: Wings (hot, of course); Padriac's burger (blue cheese and hot sauce); chicken quesadillas (sour cream on the side) Recommended beer: Labatt's Blue, Molson Canadian, $2.50 Coors Light, Smithwicks Ale
