LabattBlue Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 As I watched the game last night, I was wondering if Briere can be as good as St. Louis and become a 90+ point player per year. I was amazed at the way Briere blew by the defensemen in overtime to get a point blank shot on goal. It was like the defenseman was standing still. He always seems to play hard, including being fearless in terms of going to the net(as they mentioned on last nights broadcast).
Taro T Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 I definitely expect him to at least get into the 80's if he's healthy all year and the obstruction crackdown continues. 90's are possible.
shoveldog Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 I personally think we will start to see 50 and 60 goal scorers again now that the game has opened up. This is a MUCH more exciting brand of hockey. Shovel
