Southwest RDU/BUF fare is $280 r/t. 10:45am flight gets you to RDU 15 minutes before gametime, but the RBC Cener is a short cab ride from the airport. Cheapest seats remaing for game: $70. Stay at an area hotel. (There's an Embassy Suites bewteen RBC Center and the airport) 9:25am flight gets you back to BUF by 1:30pm.

Okay, so you're spending about $500 by now...maybe the scalper is cheaper.

I'm heading down for to RBC, it is only a 13 hour drive and I get a free tumbler.

They need to give away free tumblers to fill the seats for this one.

NASCAR weekend in Carolina.

Where are you coming from? I'd suggest avoiding I-95. I can do the Raleigh to Amherst drive in 11.5 hours.

I think best way from buffalo to raleigh is I90 to I79 to US19South to I77 to I74 to I40. I think I made it about 10.5 hours from fredonia

This is the absolute best bet to get from buffalo to raleigh. You're driving west and south, not east and south, and its through the mountains, but you avoid the DC area completely. There's minimal traffic through the mountains... Plus, going through the tunnels is always fun!
