Try getting one out here in Regina, SK.

Anybody want to send one out?

My wife is from Regina. She used to live in the Whitmore Park area behind The Keg restaurant on Albert St. near Gordon. I sure do miss the food at Earl's restaurant.

Well, how bout that! They have a bigger, newer Earl's across the street from the old one now. I live way up in the northwest end of town, so I never go to it though.

Not a lot of Sabres fans out here. When Curtis Brown and Rhett Warrener played for the Buff, I saw a few fans who knew those guys. Most Sabre fans out here are guys about my age who became fans in the french connection era.

Even if I had a car flag, I wonder how many minutes it would last if the oilers and sabres met in the final.

I've been to both Earl's. The newer is a bit on the fancy side. My wife even took me to a Roughriders game once. That was a lot of fun, especially watching the little prairie dog clanging the signs together to rile up the homecrowd. What a small world. Lost my ass at Casino Regina once though.

i wonder why the houston texans web site sells Sabres Flags.

I believe Mike Grier's father works for the Texans. That'd be the only connection I can come up with...

Bahhh... scratch that.

Although this one would be pretty good for getting the mud off my shoes.

If you think the gopher is funny, you should see when they grab a kid ( usually about 5 or 6 yrs. old ) out of the crowd to kick the crap out of the other team's mascot on the field.

Even my 7 year old daughter gets fired up, she was very bitter they didn't get her to beat on the stuffed tiger that was meant to represent Hamilton's team.
